Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MindOverTrade (the "Service"), operated by MindOverTrade ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What MindOverTrade is — and isn't

MindOverTrade is a trading journal and analytics tool. It helps you record, review, and analyze your own historical trading activity, discipline, and psychology. MindOverTrade does not place trades, hold funds, manage a brokerage account, or connect to any brokerage on your behalf. Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and no feature — including the Risk Manager, Position Sizer, or any analytics or "edge" computed from your data — constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or instrument. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, is used for unlawful activity, or is inactive for an extended period on the Free plan, with notice where reasonably practicable.

3. Your data

You retain ownership of the trade data, notes, screenshots, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to train third-party models. 4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

MindOverTrade offers a Free plan and paid Starter/Pro plans, billed monthly or yearly, priced per your resolved region. Paid subscriptions are processed by a third-party payment provider (Stripe or Razorpay, depending on configuration) — we never receive or store your full card or bank details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout. Downgrading between paid plans with more trading accounts than your new plan allows never deletes your data — accounts beyond your new plan's limit become read-only for new activity rather than removed, and are fully restored the moment you upgrade again. Cancelling to, or otherwise being on, the Free plan is different: your active account switches to your permanent Demo Account, and every real trading account becomes read-only (not deleted) until you upgrade again. The Demo Account itself is not a long-term store — see our Privacy Policy for its rolling 15-day retention.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise. We may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable advance notice.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or contains malware.
• Do not attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or other technical restrictions.
• Do not use the Service to build a competing product by systematically extracting our software or design.

6. Service availability

We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MindOverTrade is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including trading losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Account deletion is irreversible: it permanently removes your profile, trades, screenshots, and every other record described in our Privacy Policy, per GDPR-style data-subject rights. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or email before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
